bow cobweb felted scarf

A beautifully lightweight cobweb felted scarf. This scarf has been hand felted from a rainbow blend of merino wool fibres. It is amazingly soft and drapes beautifully. As the name implies this scarf is made from a very fine layer of woollen fibres creating a very sheer scarf with small "holes" apparent which are deliberate and add to the beauty of the scarf. The edges have been left unstraightened giving an organic look. Whilst suitable for everyday use, this scarf is by nature more delicate than thicker traditional felt scarves.
Made from all natural fibres this scarf can be worn all year round, cool in the summer months but warm and cosy in wintertime. The scarf is a long scarf measuring ap ximately 170cm (67") x 32cm (12.6") allowing it to be worn in many ways, draped loosely around the shoulders or wrapped/tied around the neck to vide additional warmth if required.

The scarf will be sent wrapped in pretty floral tissue paper with brief information about the nuno felting cess and full washing instructions making it an ideal gift.

Handwash gently in warm water only. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
